Who we are
Founded in 2017, Epsilon Eta is a professional fraternity at the University of California, Berkeley for dedicated environmentalists seeking post-graduate opportunities in the environmental field. As a fraternity, we welcome all students who are enthusiastic about protecting the environment.
We currently have more than 50 active members with a wide range of backgrounds, including engineering, math, environmental science & design, economics, global studies, and (many) more. All members of the fraternity must complete at least 10 hours of hands on environmental service, attend bi-monthly meetings, and participate in our campus events and fundraisers.
What we do
Through establishing connections between students, faculty, researchers, and agencies in the Bay Area, Epsilon Eta seeks to develop a network for those who aspire to make tangible, positive change in the environmental sector. We utilize environmental education, volunteering, and community outreach as mechanisms to promote sustainability, environmental justice, and conservation.
Epsilon Eta also also focuses on professional development, academic excellence, and fostering social bonds between members. Feel free to check out our blog, where you’ll find passionate articles written by members about the environmental issues they find most interesting.
